Patna : Police have arrested 13 criminals from different places under Sultanganj, Agamkuan, Malsalami, and Mehdiganj police stations area in Patna district during a special drive launched on the direction of SSP, Patna, Manu Maharaaj.
Five of these 13 criminals were arrested under Sultanganj police station while 4 other criminals were arrested under Agamkuan police station. Three criminals were arrested under Malsalami ps area and one criminal was arrested under Mehdiganj police station area. Police also seized one revolver, 3 pistols, several live rounds, cash and liquor from the possession of arrested criminals. Malsalami police also recovered jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh stolen from the residence of Dr Bablee Mehta recently.
The criminals arrested from Saheb Colony under Sultanganj PS were identified as Rohit Kumar, Golu Kumar, Tarzan Kumar, and Rajan Kumar. Police seized a revolver, Rs 10,000 cash, 5 bottles of liquor, 1 UPS, 1 CPU, and 9 mobile phones from their possession. The CPU, UPS, Rs 10,000 cash and 9 mobile phones were stolen from the residence of one Mohd Ehsan on Shanichara Mor, Ambedkar Colony, said SHO, Sultanganj police station.
