Patna : A total of 126 more persons including 51 from Patna, 13 from Bhagalpur, 7 from Rohtas, 6 each from Araria and West Champaran, 5 from Nawada, 4 each from Nalanda and Siwan, and 3 each from Begusarai, Gaya,Munger, Samastipur and Sheohar, tested positive for Covid-19 in Bihar on March 20, 2021, taking the number of cases recorded so far in the state to 2,63,569 on March 21, 2021. The active cases surged to 522 in Bihar including 242 in Patna on March 21, 2021, from 472 cases on March 20, 2021.
Of the 2,63,569 Covid-19 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, altogether 2,61,487 patients have been declared cured including 74 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) dropping to 99.21% on March21, 2021, from 99.23% on March 20, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,559 in Bihar on March 21, 2021, with two new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including one each in Patna and Gya. With this, the toll increased to 450 in Patna and 61 in Gaya.
