12 injured in lightning at Muzaffarpur village

Muzaffarpur : Twelve persons were injured in lightning at village Shivaipatti under Meenapur block in Muzaffarpur district on April 10, 2018, when they were harvesting wheat crop in filed. All of them are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Heavy rains coupled with hailstones damaged standing crops in 7,500 acre in the district with six panchayats under Saraiya block suffering the maximum damage. Standing crops on 4,500 acre in six panchayats under Saraiya block were damaged due to hailstone. Rain and hailstone damaged crops under 9 blocks in the district.
