Patna : Bihar government on September 5, 2017, promoted 12 IAS officers including Buxar DM Arvind Kumar Verma and Lakhisarai DM Amit Kumar to the Joint Secretary rank in the payscale of Rs 67,000 – Rs 2,08, 700. All of them have been given Senior Selection Grade.
Of the 12 IAS officers promoted on September 5, three: Arvind Kumar Verma, Amit Kumar and Sunil Kumar Yadav ( DDC, East Champaran) belong to 2012 batch and the rest nine to 2013 batch. The nine officers of 2013 batch are : Dharmendra Kumar, SDO, Bagaha, Raghvendra Singh, SDO, Jainagar, Yogendra Singh, SDO, Patna City, Ms Shailja Sharma, DDC, Muzaffarpur, Navdip Shukla, SDO, Ara, Subrat Kumar Sen, SDO, Barh, Nawal Kishore Chaudhary, SDO, Jehanabad, Ms Ranjita, SDO, Muzaffarpur West, and Anand Sharma, SDO, Masaurhi. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification regarding the promotion of these 12 IAS officers on September 5.
