116 students of DPS Bokaro clear International German Exam (Fit in Deutsch)

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro added another feat to its glory as 116 students of the school cleared International German Examination ( Fit in Deutsch) conducted this year for German learners of class IX by Goethe- Instit, Kolkata.

The top three rankers : Khushi Bharti, Suhani Bharti and Aditi Shikha, got an opportunity to attend a five-day long German Language Camp conducted at Mahabalipuram, Chennai. It may be mentioned here that the camp was fully sponsored by the same institute and the students got a wonderful exposure to the language and the culture through fascinating activities.

‘Fit in Deutsch 1’ is a German exam for children between 10 and 16 years of age. It certifies that candidates have acquired the basic language skills and corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Congratulating the students on their success, Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said, “ This achievement shows the potential of our students on an international platform. We will definitely march forward with more stories of success.”
