New Delhi : Only 11,039 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,07,77,284 cases in the country at 8 am on February 3, 2021. On the other hand, 14,225 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in last 24 hours in the country taking the tally to 1,04,62,631 on February 3, 2021, exceeding the number of active cases ( 1,60,057) by a massive margin of 1,03,02,574. The active cases accounted for just 1.49% of the total Covid-19 cases recorded so far in the country on February 3, 2021, a drop of 3,296 cases in last 24 hours.
Of the 1,07,77,284 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in India, altogether 1,04,62,631 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.08% on February 3, 2021. India has tested 19,84,73,178 samples so far including 7,21,121 samples on February 3, 2021.Meanwhile, 41,38,918 Corona Warriors have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in India so far including 1,88,762 beneficiaries on February 2, 2021, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,54,596 in India on February 3, 2021, with 110 new deaths being recorded in the country in last 24 hours including 30 in Maharashtra, 16 in Kerala, 12 in Punjab, 9 in West Bengal, 6 in Uttar Pradesh, 5 in Chhattisgarh, 4 in Tamilnadu, 3 in Karnataka, 3 in Madhya Pradesh, 3 in Uttarakhand, 2 in Delhi, 2 in Rajasthan, 2 in Andhra Pradesh, 2 in Jharkhand, 1 in Haryana, and 1 in Gujarat. India had recorded 94 new deaths on February 2, 2021.
