110 inmates of Muzaffarpur Central Jail performing Chhath

Patna : One hundred ten inmates of Khudi Ram Bose Central Jail, Muzaffarpur, are also observing Chhath. Superintendent, Central Jail, Muzaffarpur, Satyendra Kumar, said of the 110 Chhath devotees of the jail 62  are women inmates.

The Jail administration has made all the arrangements to facilitate them offer ‘ Arghya’ on October 26, 2017, evening, and October 27 morning. They have been given all the Chhath Puja materials and cloths. The jail inmates will offer Arghya at the makeshift ghat inside the jail. The inmates had also performed Chhath puja in 2016 too, said Central Jail Superintendent Kumar.
