New Delhi : The exponential increase in the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured continues in India surging to 2,48,189 at 8 am on June 23, 2020, morning, an increase of 10,994 during last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,78,014 in the country. Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 14,011 in India with 312 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country. Maharashtra alone has reported 113 new deaths while Delhi has reported 58 new deaths. Gujarat reported 21 new deaths.

Coronavirus death toll break-up is : Maharashtra (6,283), Delhi (2,233), Gujarat (1,684), Tamilnadu (794), West Bengal (569), UP (569),  Madhya Pradesh (521), Rajasthan (356), Telengana (217), Haryana ( 169), Karnataka (142), Andhra Pradesh (111), Punjab (101), J&K (85), Bihar (55), Uttarakhand (28), Kerala (21), Odisha (15), Chhattisgarh (12), Jharkhand (11), Assam (9), Puducherry (8), Himachal Pradesh (8), Chandigarh (6), Goa (1), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), Tripura(1).

In Maharashtra, 67,706 Coronavirus patients have been cured till date followed by 34,112 in Tamilnadu, 36,602 in Delhi, 19,909 in Gujarat, 11,910 in Rajasthan, 11,601 in UP, 9,215 in MP, 8,687 in West Bengal, 5,916 in Haryana, 5,781 in  Bihar, 5,730 in Karnataka, 4,005 in Telengana, and 3,531 in J&K.
