New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured rose to 1,09,461 in India at 8 am on June 5, 2020, a very significant increase of 5,355 during last 24 hours. But, Coronavirus death toll has also jumped to 6,348 in India, a big leap of 273 during last 24 hours. Maharashtra alone accounts for 2,710 deaths followed by Gujarat with 1,155 and Delhi 650 deaths. Bihar has reported 29 deaths and Jharkhand 6. The number of active cases stands at 1,10,960 in the country.
Altogether 33,681 Coronavirus patients have been cured in Maharashtra while 14,902 patients have been cured in Tamilnadu and 12,667 in Gujarat. A total of 9,898 patients have been cured in Delhi too while 7,104 patients got cured in Rajasthan, 5,637 in Madhya Pradesh, 5,439 in UP, 2,768 in West Bengal, 2,210 in Bihar, and 354 in Jharkhand.
