Bettiah : One person died while a dozen others were injured four of them seriously in bomb explosion at a house at village Hardipatti, about 3 km away from Nautan police station in West Champaran District in North Bihar, on September 21, 2019, early morning, during making of bombs at an illegal factory.

One Nurain  Mian, 60, was killed  while a dozen others were injured. The condition of four injured  persons : Anawarul  Mian, Mukhatar  Mian, Meraj  Ansari, and Nazama  Khatoon of village Hardipatti, is stated to be serious. All the injured were admitted to MJK District Hospital, Bettiah.

Sources said that the blast took place during bomb making at an illegal factory. The explosion was so powerful that four  thatched houses were blown up and six cattle heads perished. West Champaran SP Jayant Kant, SDPO, Bettiah, Pankaj Rawat with a big contingent of police force reached the spot soon after getting information about the blast. The SP said that a team of experts had been pressed into service to investigate the  incident.
