1 person killed, 3 injured in Bhojpur accident

Ara : One person was killed and three others injured when a speeding truck collided head-on with a the car near village Sudhani Mor on Ara-Sasaram main road under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district in the morning on June 13, 2019.

Two passengers of the car somehow came out of the car and escaped while the driver of the truck fled away with the truck after the accident. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police also arrested the driver of the car for interrogation and seized the car.

The deceased was identified as Satyendra Singh Yadav of Semrao-Dulaur Tola under Charpokhari police station while the injured were identified as owner of a dance group Kanhaiya Yadav of village Basauri under Piro police station, Virendra Kumar Singh of village Amroja under Charpokhari police station, and Anjani Kumar alias Ashutosh Kumar, driver of the car. Two injured persons :  Kanhaiya Yadav and Virendra Kumar Singh, escaped from the spot.

SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that all the persons had hired a car for going to village Jokta under Chandi police station from Charpokhari to attend a marriage ceremony. While returning, a speeding truck collided head-on with the car near Sudhani Mor under Udwantnagar police station in which Satyendra  Singh was killed.

On the other hand, the family members of the deceased alleged that Satyendra Singh was murdered and it  was given a colour of an  accident. The driver of the car said that all the passengers in the car were in drunken state and were carrying firearms. An FIR has been lodged with police in this connection.
