1 killed, 2 injured in Bhojpur accident

Ara : One person was killed while two others were seriously injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding three- wheeler near village Balua under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district on February 11, 2019.

Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Md Zubaid Khan, 55, son of Md Shabid of Rauja locality under Ara Town police station while the injured were identified as Babloo Sharma, 20, son of Devanand Sharma, and Rudal Prasad, 24, son of Devrai Prasad of Mathwalia village under Ara Muffassil police station.

SHO, Ara Muffassil police station, said that Md Zubaid Khan was coming from village Mathawalia along with Babloo Sharma and Rudal Prasad on his motorcycle to Ara. When he reached near village Balua, a speeding three- wheeler collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Md Zubaid Khan on the spot while the pillion riders: Babloo Sharma and Rudal Prasad were injured.
