Bagaha: Acting on a tip off, SSB jawans of 21th Battalion, Ramnagar, and Ramnagar police station SHO Vinay Kumar Mishra along with police force carried out a raid at village Sigari Thuthitola under Ramnagar police station on 0n December 27 night and seized 1,400 gram Charas and 450 gram Nepali ganja besides a countrymade gun behind the house of one Bhikhu Mukhia of the village. But, after thorough inquiry into the matter, Bhikhu Mukhia was found innocent.
Bagaha SP Shankar Jha said here that a case under various sections of the IPC and Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substance( NDPS ) Act had been registered with Ramnagar police station in this connection and efforts were on to arrest the person involved in smuggland Ganja.
